Conewango Creek Watershed Association to hold Annual Meeting
The Conewango Creek Watershed Association will hold its 14th Annual Meeting on Thursday November 13th, 2014 at the Jamestown Audubon Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown, NY. The meeting will run from 7 pm to 9 pm. The speaker will be Wes Ramsey of Youngsville, PA and he will present a slide show about unique Alaskan ecosystems he discovered during his trip this past July.
There will also be a brief business meeting and election of directors. We have three persons nominated for 4 director positions that are open. Nominees are: Dick Burlingame (Warren County), Sue Nielsen (Warren County) and Steve Kimball (Chautauqua County). Nominations are still open. Members can nominate any member in good standing. We are looking for nominees particularly from Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties to maintain a balanced representation of the watershed. Approximately 80% of the watershed is in NYS.
