PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers (POWR) runs the contest for PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). See the POWR website for more information: http://pawatersheds.org/ The winner will receive $10,000.00 to celebrate their river for 1 year. That’s 10,000.00 that can be invested into the Conewango and it’s communities. This would also bring a good deal of positive publicity to the entire Conewango Creek watershed and our region.
