Sojourn a Success–Up NEXT: Hatch Fun Geocaching Aug 1, 2015

The Conewango Creek River of the Year Sojourn was a success and people commented how much they enjoyed this educational group paddle trip. Thank you State Representative Kathy Rapp for reading and presenting a proclamation naming us River of the Year for 2015! Thank you to our four expert presenters who spoke on a variety of topics along the way:  Tom Erlandson, JCC-retired: Geology of the Conewango Creek Watershed; Nate Welker, USFS: Aquatic Biodiversity of the Conewango Watershed; Cecile Stelter, PA Forest Bureau: Importance of Healthy Diverse Forests to the Conewango Creek Watershed; and Chase Putnam, Warren County Historical Society-retired: Local History of the Conewango Creek Area.
