The Conewango Creek Watershed is a 900 square mile drainage basin that is comprised of many smaller watersheds. Likewise, the Conewango is a portion of the larger Allegheny and Ohio River watersheds. The Conewango watershed contains approximately 780 miles of streams, 423 square miles of forest, and 392 square miles of farmland.
