Morrison Run In-stream Habitat Work Scheduled for September 23,2017
Volunteers will meet at the Dollar General/Old Sears Parking Lot at 8:00 a.m. Please mark your calendars and pass this on to anyone who is interested in helping with this project. More information will be sent out later this year. This will be the 9th year the Cornplanter Chapter with the help of Warren County Conservation District, US Forest Service and others, have done a fish and aquatic organism habitat restoration project on Morrison Run. The Restoration Plan still has three devices left to install: Modified Mud Sill, Channel Block and Log Framed Cross Vane. Most of the work has been done by volunteers.
“Thank you for the great turnout last year!!! (18 volunteers) Everyone did Excellent Work. Fish-On!!!” says Cornplanter Chapter Director Jim Lawson.
